Travelling
with my usual skincare range is always a hassle -- the glass bottles have
leaked and my clothes stained. Having a Trilogy Travellers kit is a bonus. It´s
a comprehensive skincare range meant for travellers.
Packed in
a hardy cardboard box, you get four miniature glass bottles from the Stem
Organics range which can be easily locked by turning the caps to the right.
I put it
to the test during my recent trip abroad, and to my amazement, nothing spilled.
Trilogy

pump system available.
Gentle Cleansing Milk
Made from essential ingredients like organic aloe and
chamomile, this gentle cleansing milk cleanses without stripping moisture.
Dehydrated from the recent flight, I used this as a make-up
remover and it removed the dirt and grime while gently moisturising the skin.
It also left my skin soft. The calming aroma of Chamomile is
just what you need after a long day.
Tip: If you have used heavy make-up, I
suggest using this as a make-up remover and then cleansing with your usual
cleanser. However, it is suitable for everyday use if you have light make-up
on.
Antioxidant Toning Infusion
An antioxidant enriched skin tonic without alcohol, which I
personally prefer, as alcohol toners tend to be very drying. After soaking a
cotton pad, I swiped it over my face.
Refreshing and clean, it prepped my skin with just the right
amount of wetness without over-drying it.
The fact that I´m already starting my early anti-ageing
skincare on my 20-something skin with this multifunctional toner full of
organic, antioxidant rich ingredients are an added bonus.
Tip: One or two pumps are sufficient;
you can also you use this tonic on days where you skin needs a little glow.
Fresh Start Serum
This serum is suitable for day and night use; it gives you a
fresh start to fighting the elements of the day, and boost the repairing at
night. Rich in powerful age-fighting antioxidants, it is light on the skin.
I used this in the morning before my daily face fluid and at
night with my soothing night cream and I gradually noticed my skin becoming a
little taut.
At home, instead of using daily moisture, I used this
instead for a lighter feel.
Tip: One pump is sufficient for the
entire face.
Smooth Skin Exfoliant
A gentle yet effective polish for the face made from organic
jojoba and pomegranate; it creates a smooth and radiant glow.
I only used this on alternate days. It certainly gave my
skin a more polished glow. With daily usage, it also increases the
effectiveness of moisturiser and serums.
Tip: If you have very sensitive skin,
use it only once a week but it is generally very gentle even as an exfoliant.
